Quotations are hereby invited for the provision of hiring of 32 ton truck with low bed trailer. Scope of Services Transport of equipment: • The contractor will be responsible for loading, securing and transporting the above mentioned equipment"s from DCT Pier 2 to A-Check; • The lowbed trailer should be capable of safety transporting Haulers weighing up to 16 tons with appropriate clearance for oversized loads. Trailer specifications: • Lowbed trailer must have sufficient loading capacity and dimensions to accommodate the haulers and trailers; • The trailer must be in good operational condition, equipped with proper securing mechanism (eg., chains, straps, etc); • The trailer should include necessary safety and compliance Equipment (eg., lights reflective makings, etc) for safe transporting. Route Planning and Permit: • The contractor must ensure all necessary permit and approvals for transport (eg., oversize load permit, special route approvals etc) are obtained before • The contractor must ensure the planned route Is suitable for lowbed trailer and Equipment, considering factors like weight limits, over Head clearance, road conditions, etc Loading and Offloading: • The contractor will assist with loading and offloading of the equipment"s at both origin and destination, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed. Time frame: • The transport is expected to take 10 days from start to finish; • Any delays beyond control of the contractor should be communicated in advance and agreed upon.
