Quotations are hereby invited for the appointment of a service provider for the service and repair of air conditioners at Tankwa Karoo National Park for period of 3 (three) years. Scope of Work: • Check all air filters, Replace if damage. Report to client first on the damage air filters and provide proof of number of air filters to be replace; • Spray inside filter and condenser unit with Bacterial and Gem killer spray; • Clean evaporator and condenser coils: evaporator filter, condenser coil, condensate drain, evaporator and condenser unit covers are cleaned; • Inspect drain line and drain pan: clean condensate/Drain pans, pump and drain, remove debris; • Blower and condenser fan: Inspect fan blades, replace if damaged, clean fan barrels, check and lubricate fan bearings; • Ensure that condensed water runs to the outside of the room; • Check thermostat: Test for proper operation, calibrate and level; • Inspect electrical wiring and controls: Tighten and secure any loose connections; • Inspect and clean air registers and duct work; • Provide written service report on all units; • Check Gas pressure: fill up when needed; • Clean exterior condenser of units using suitable detergent; • Check and run air con system fully for air temp + Pressure (if unit does not operate fully, then provide written report as to why unit needs to be repair/replaced); • Replacement of damage remotes.
