Proposals are hereby invited for the appointment of the suitably qualified contractors for refurbishment of Kutlwanong WWTW, associated pump stations and provision of security fence. The works to be carried out by the contractor under this contract comprise the following: - The refurbishment of various mechanical/electrical items at Kutlwanong WWTW; - The replacement or provision of new mechanical items at Kutlwanong WWTW; - Development and provision of a new SCADA system for Kutlwanong WWTW; - Replacement/refurbishment/repair of various problematic internal sewer pipelines in the immediate Kulwanong WWTW area; - Refurbishment of the concrete structures of the WWTW Plant; - Refurbishment and new electrical components for the WWTW; - Return of all re-usable equipment / items to the Matjhabeng Local Municipality; - Refurbishment/Upgrade of related Pump Stations; - Provision of a Standby Generator for power failures to avoid overflow; - Refurbishment of inlet works structure/channels, etc. - Maturation ponds - sludge and vegetation removal; - Erect new high security new electrified fence with camera monitoring; - Cleaning out of structure basins and piping; - Camera system and control along perimeter; - Grass cutting and landscaping; - Refurbishment of office and storage facilities; - Electricity network repair, MCC and PLC; - Staff housing; - Construction of a guardhouse at the entrance to control access.
