Scope of work: To conduct a macro-environmental analysis covering but not limited to the following areas: The strategic direction of the client as defined by the Client Corporate Strategic Plan 2025/26 – 20229/30: • Policy and legislative framework guiding ICT; • The impact of the changing economic conditions on the business of client and its impact on ICT; • Quantitative analysis of the demand for ICT’s services versus its supply capability; • Input price and labour cost changes and their impact on operational output; • To conduct a PEST and SWOT analysis; • To review the quality of services and products of ICT and identify areas of improvements; • To review the current strategies, strategic fit, strategic positioning, and advantage of ICT and then revise these; • To review the performance and potential for growth of the research, development, and innovation functions; • To assess client"s organizational culture and its impact on service delivery and growth of the company; • To assess the scope for synergy and service integration thus improving the cost structure; • To review the adequacy of the value chain activities and business model and recommend improvements; • To generate strategic alternatives and assist ICT in choosing the appropriate combination based on the best strategic fit; • To develop a resourcing strategy (i.e. human, technological, and financial) for ICT to succeed in fulfilling its strategic objectives; • To identify key and potential risks that could hamper the company from achieving its strategic objectives and mandate; and • To develop appropriate response strategies and mitigation measures to manage identified risks.
