Extension of Closing Date: Expression of interest are hereby invited for the following: Appointment of an experienced service provider to provide environmental education programs to local schools, communities bordering the park and any other relevant stakeholder within the Environmental Education (EE) space at the Phabeni Environmental Education Centre close for Kruger National Park for the period of twenty (20) years. Scope: The successful service provider will be expected to: 1. Operate and manage the Phabeni Environmental Education Centre. The funding for the entire project which includes the operation, upgrading and on-going maintenance of defined infrastructure (which will be shared during the site inspection); 2. To provide formal and non-formal environmental education programs; 3. Develop educational content that addresses climate changes challenges and ensuring sustainable development goals are achieved; 4. Develop solutions to the identified environmental problems using environmental education programs, through critical thinking and the application of previously acquired knowledge from subjects in schools, gain hands-on experience in implementing their ideas, as hands-on projects, supported through mentorship, peer learning through group projects; 5. To develop and provide school holidays programs for neighboring schools; 6. Develop interactive activities whereby local communities can be involved in life-skills learning; 7. Share their environmental education programs with internal and external stakeholders; 8. Develop and run programmes that are curriculum-related so that learners can complement their knowledge by visiting the centre; 9. Develop content that incorporate indigenous knowledge for inclusion on the Environmental Educational Programs; 10. Provide formal Environmental Education, Training and Development accredited nature training courses; 11. Ability to educate learners, guides, guests and communities who hold interest in natural environment; 12.
