Expression of Interest are hereby invited for the following: study of the contribution and impacts of the International Finance Corporation in South Africa. Scope of work: The study will include (among others) the following main tasks: 1) Review of information on IFC operations from internal documents, Board reports and other sources including reviews of IFC operations by the World Bank Group’s Independent Evaluation Group to report on the outcomes and impacts of its operations; 2) Compile and aggregate (e.g. by indicators) the overall impact of IFC’s activities during the period; 3) Undertake key informant interviews and Focus Group Discussions with IFC’s key clients and stakeholders including project participants to go beyond the already collected data to capture the contributions of IFC’s support; 4) Develop specific case studies as needed to illustrate key achievements and/or challenges and lessons; 5) Compare the assessed performance of IFC in SA against similar markets (e.g. other Middle Income Countries) using the listed measures to the extent possible; 6) Develop Lessons: The consultant shall document lessons emanating from IFC’s involvement and delivery of each of the above tasks and develop actionable recommendations to feedback lessons to future IFC interventions and operations. In particular, they shall: a) Report on each task and include a section on lessons in the final report, and b) Back up each lesson by analyzing the associated consequences, risks and mitigations, etc. Fonte: ONLINE TENDERS
