Bids are hereby invited for the following: Supply and delivery of geotextile membrane, grade A2 to the temporary Bypass Siphon Mthatha Dam Project in the Eastern Cape. Scope: - The geotextile need to be SABS approved and also need to be in accordance with SANS 10221 and ISO 12956 as well as with CGSB148.1 10; - The geotextile must be grade A2; - The thickness of the geotextile must be 2.6mm; - The permittivity of the geotextile at 100mm head must be 2.0s¯¹; - The width of the geotextile must be 2.65m; - The length of the geotextile roll must be 150m; - The porosity of the geotextile must be 93% under 2 kPa; - Geotextile rolls must be packaged in a UV stabilised, tight plastic wrapping; - Each roll must have a unique roll number which indicates the grade, width and length of the roll and should be colour coded according to the relevant grade.
