Re-Advertisement: Tenders are hereby invited for the appointment of a service provider to supply, deliver and install perimeter fencing at the Oudtshoorn Site. Scope of work: Double welded mesh fence (clear view)- perimeter fencing: • Fence panel aperture: 12.6mm x 76.2mm (horizontal or vertical inclination); • Perimeter: 315; • Wire size: 3.4mm; • Fence height: 3000mm; • Panel width: 3000mm; • Material: 500 Mpa - 750 Mpa high tensile hot dipped galvanized wire and PVC coated (coastal application) - Black; • Weld strength: 60%, weight: 5kg/m²; • Security characteristics: Intrude resist / climb resist / cut resist / tamper resist; • Aesthetic characteristics: Clear view (transparency); • Security level: Maximum. Post: • The panels are to be fixed laterally onto the posts and secured with anti-vandal metal security fixtures. The IPE posts (100 x 55mm) are galvanized then primed with an adhesion layer and PVC coated. These should be full length not extended posts, and should not be joined or welded; • Post foundation shall be 600mm x 400mm² 30Mpa concrete. Topping: • Galvanised concertina coil (700mm) and bracket to be installed at the top of the 3m fence. Foundation: • Post foundation shall be 600mm x 400mm² 25Mpa concrete. Gate: • The site is to be fitted with a sliding gate and the gate specification to be constructed with the same stature and height of the fence; • The gate is to be 5m in length and to be in similar height and specification as the fence and to be fitted with an anti-vandal locker; • The wheel size for the gates shall be series 150 and a round bar shall be installed on the base of the gate to run the wheel; • Heavy duty pad lock: 10cm(L) x 10cm(W) x 10cm(H); • Railing length: 10m.
