The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education invites suitable and capable service providers to bid for the establishment of a panel of service providers for the training of sports and enrichment assistants in various Circuit Management Centres for the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education for a period of thirty-six (36) months with an option to extend for twenty-four (24) months. Scope • There are approximately 4638 Sports and Enrichment Assistants across the province i.e. in all the 12 districts. Specifications • The training provider must train Sports and Enrichment Assistants on sport, arts, culture and other enrichment programmes; • Training will have to be implemented at circuit management level; • Training will have to be facilitated face-to-face and will mainly be practical; • Training materials to be used will be based on the nationally approved documents e.g. Transfer of Skills document; • Participants will have to be issued with certificates of competence at the conclusion of training.
