Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Repair damaged fence in Brackenham x 1.000. Scope of work: The detailed scope will include the following: • The contractor is required to conduct repairs on the existing blocks wall. • The contractor is also required to re-do the paving. Paving Bricks to match the existing ones. • The contractor is required to provide labour, equipment and material to carry out the works. • The contractor is required to demolish the existing wall, remove the electric wires and construct a new wall to match the existing one. • The wall dimension is 15 x 1.8m in height and must be plastered with the well mixed cement to sand fine sand ratio. • Mesh wire must be inserted in each layer of blocks to ensure stability of the wall and avoid cracks. • Use M40 blocks of high quality and mortar must be well placed in between the blocks. • The wall must be painted with oil based painting matching the existing colour. • A membrane must be placed on top of the wall to avoid infusion of the rain. • The area must first be compacted to required 93% of modified AASHTO. The area must be filled with sand before being compacted. Compaction report to be submitted once the task is completed. • The contractor is also required to re-install the electric wires on top of the wall and reconnect it. Wire must be a braided one. • All old material that will be removed is required to be collected and dump at the municipal dumping site. • The contractor’s job must have a guarantee of 12 months from the completion date. If anything happens on the wall like cracks, the contractor will be called back to site to fix any issues raised. Failing which the contractor will be suspended. Fonte: ONLINE TENDERS
