Bids are hereby invited for the following: Supply, setup and delivery of eight (8) high volume image scanners for the Eastern Cape Region as per SITA RFB 740. Specifications: The objective of this bid is to solicit quotations and to successfully contract a suitable Service Provider to: - Provide 8 image scanners that meets the image scanner specification as presented in section five (5); - Provide a 3-year next business day on-site warranty for all 8 image scanners. Scanning volumes: - The current scanning volume per scanner is between 5000 and 8000 pages per day; - This figure is expected to be increased considerably once the scanners are installed to approx. 15 000 pages per day. Supply and installation of scanner devices: - All scanners are to be delivered to the Records Management Centre (RMC) in the Eastern Cape; - The bidder as part of the handover of the scanner devices, each device must be tested, and asset tagged; - The delivery, setup and training of the scanners will be then deemed complete after the successful testing of the devices.
