Addendum: Extension of Closing Date: Proposals are hereby invited for the following: Service provider to develop a fit for Purpose Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) Model to analyse, measure and evaluate the broader economic and socio-economic impacts of the IPP Procurement Programmes within the South African economic context. Scope of Work: Services of a suitably qualified service provider to design and construct a CGE model specifically tailored to the requirements of the IPP Office. The model should capture the economic impacts of the IPP Procurement Programme accurately and comprehensively, and be able to model a range of scenarios that encompass different policy options, changes in procurement requirements, and potential variations in the IPP Programmes. The service provider will advise and collaborate with the IPP Office to identify key parameters and variables that need to be adjusted to accurately reflect the different scenarios. The project will be implemented in a two-phase approach, structured as follows: - Phase 1: Model development and initial impact assessment; - Phase 2: Scenario analyses on a retainer basis (Service provider potentially retained following successful completion of Phase 1).
