Tenders are hereby invited for the appointment of a service provider to deliver maintain and support Information Technology (IT) software for a period of 36 months. Specificatios: The successful bidder will be responsible for carrying out the following: • The service provider shall be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and support of the organization"s IT software applications to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability, • The service provider shall supply and configure new IT software solutions on an on-demand basis, • The service provider shall ensure that all software fits into Rand West City Local Municipality"s ICT future plans for a cloud system, • The service provider shall provide SSL/TLS certificate renewal services for Rand West City Local Municipality, • The service provider must ensure the licenses are valid for the agreed period, • The service provider shall ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and IT standards governing software maintenance and security, • The Identify and document the complete portfolio of software applications requiring maintenance, • The Service provider shall provide support and ongoing maintenance for a period of 36 months, • Establish an emergency response plan to address critical issues promptly, including a designated point of contact and escalation procedures, • Collaborate with internal IT teams and stakeholders to align maintenance activities with organizational goals and priorities, • Assist, implement and update security protocols to safeguard software applications against cyber threats, • All new configurations, installations/infrastructure design must be documented and handed over, • The successful bidder will provide training to ICT staff and support to IT Systems Application Specialists.
