Quotations are hereby invited to supply, deliver, install, and commission 3-phase VT, 3kVA UPS, and Ethernet link at the booster pump house. Scope of work: Supply, deliver, install and commission 3phase VT, 3KVA UPS and Ethernet link at the booster pump house at Saldanha Terminal: 1. Removal of existing single phase VT and Installation of new Three-Phase Voltage Transformer (VT) (quantity x 3): • Replace the single-phase VT with a new three-phase VT rated at 11 kV to 110 V, • The new installation must be integrated with the E300 system. Conduct tests to confirm that the new three-phase VT provides stable, reliable voltage readings to the E300, supporting accurate diagnostics and monitoring, 2. Supply, Install and commission a 3 kVA Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with Transformer: a. UPS Installation at Main Distribution Board (DB): • Install a 3 kVA single-phase UPS with a 220V-110V transformer at the Main DB in the booster pump house, • The UPS will act as a backup power source, protecting sensitive electronic equipment from power fluctuations and interruptions, b. Cable Installation to Booster Pump LV Panels: • Install a dedicated cable from the UPS at the Main DB to the Booster Pump Low-Voltage (LV) panels, • Connect the cable to provide consistent 110V power to the booster pump controller and the E300 system, replacing the previous VT-fed 110V connection, c. Testing and Commissioning: • Test the UPS and transformer setup to verify consistent, uninterrupted power supply to the booster pump controller and E300 intelligence module, 3. Installation of Ethernet Link Between Booster Pump House and MCC Room: a. Ethernet Cable Installation: • Install an Ethernet cable to create a direct link between the booster pump house and the Motor Control Center (MCC) room, covering a clear 60-meter line of sight, • Dig a trench hole for the Ethernet cable and insert the cable in a PVC pipe, • Intergrade the new installation with the PLC, SCADA and E300 system, • Ensure the cable crosses the 5-meter concrete road securely, using appropriate protective conduits to prevent damage and maintain signal quality, b. Network Configuration: Configure the Ethernet link to enable communication between the booster pump control system and the MCC room, facilitating real-time data transmission and remote monitoring, c. Integration with SCADA System: Connect the link to the SCADA system to enable the programmed function blocks in the PLC to activate and display relevant screens on SCADA, d. Testing and Validation: Perform end-to-end testing to ensure stable, reliable data transmission between the booster pump house and MCC, and verify SCADA displays function correctly.
