The client hereby invites suitably prospective service providers to quote for the refurbishment and repair of municipal toilets. Scope of work: During all the health and safety inspections done by the Occupational health and safety officer, One of the finding is that most of the ablution facilities in the municipal buildings require urgent attention for sanitation purposes. The service provider is requested to provide a quote for Refurbishment and Repair of Municipal Toilets to combat the mentioned challenge. Main Municipal building: • Replacement of the entire toilet system of the three toilets (SABS Approved) with a universal ceramic front flush cistern; • Replacement of the door to the "disability" toilet with and indoor wooden door (203cm height and 80cm width SABS Approved); • Replacement of window (glass)(36cm height and 100cm width); • Installation of metal toilet paper dispenser (two toilet papers) in Disability and Male toilets; • Replacement of the two Hand-wash basins; • Installation of lights in the entrance of the bathroom and in all three toilets; • Plumbing services to increase the water pressure of the water going to the bathroom. Outside Main Building Toilet: • Replacements of the whole toilet system with a Universal ceramic front flush cistern (SABS Approved); • Replacements of the whole urinary system with a Universal front flush cistern (SABS Approved); • Installation of metal toilet paper dispenser (two toilet papers); • Plumbing services to ensure the toilet receive water from the pipes and to increase water pressure; • Replacement of the Hand-wash basin; • Replacement of the door with an indoor wooden door (203cm height and 80cm width SABS Approved); • Supply and install burglar door with lock. Parks and Recreation toilet: • Replacements of whole toilet system with a Universal ceramic front flush cistern (SABS Approved); • Replacement of the door to the "disability" toilet with and indoor wooden door (203cm height and 80cm width SABS Approved). Technical Department Offices: • Replacement of door handles and lock set of the two toilet doors; • Replacement of whole toilet system with a Universal ceramic front flush cistern (SABS Approved) in the two toilet inside the building; • Installation of metal toilet paper dispenser (two toilet papers) inside the two toilets; • Installation of a hand wash liquids dispenser inside the two toilets. Electricity Workshop Offices: • Replacements of whole toilet system with a Universal ceramic front flush cistern (SABS Approved) for both Male and Female toilets; • Installation of doors for both Male and Female toilets with two wooden doors (203cm height and 80cm width SABS Approved); • Plumbing services to ensure the toilet receive water from the pipes and to increase water pressure.
