0001 - 200 Water Quality Testing Kits -WQI HIGH SCHOOL PROJECT KITS AND MATERIALS FOR TEACHER AND 30-STUDENTS.
The 30 student plus teacher kit must include at a minimum:
Student field note booklets 1 water collection jar 8 large test tubes 8 small test tubes 1 secchi disk 1 thermometer Phosphate tablets Dissolved Oxygen tablets PH tablets Nitrate tablets Teacher Lesson Plans Access to exclusive online map Access to online resources Support package for teachers - replace or repair incomplete kits within 3-5 business days after notification.
** The CEW material must be available as a packaged kit as shown above, available for each recruiter to pick up and take in to their respective high schools.
0002 - TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
• On-site training workshop at the beginning of the program that effectively teaches recruiters how to employ the material and teach it to students effectively
• Training and classroom presentation materials must include a power point that incorporates what the Indiana National Guard is doing regarding STEM and how it relates to the curriculum. The WQI kits will provide local educational facilities the ability to allow students to learn about the quality of water. The individual student will be required to complete a water sampling test and interpret the results. The student will then develop a prototype that will address the problem. The prototype will be used to incorporate design and engineering.
• Presentation must be approved after contract award by the RR directorate. Contractors must submit a project plan with how they intend to implement training after the award. The project plan should not exceed 2 training days.
