Extension of closing date: Expression of interest are hereby invited for the following: Green Building Metering Study-In Country Research Team - Pilot Phase South Africa. Assignment description: IFC is looking for a In-Country Team (ICT) who will provide input relating to local knowledge of building standards/practices and energy consuming behaviors etc in the design stage of the South Africa smart metering study. The In-Country Team will have primary responsibility for the implementation of monitoring, data collection and conducting surveys in the pilot phase. The pilot phase will be a focused feasibility study to determine an approach to monitoring and research that is actually viable in practice, followed by piloting the optimal approach to monitoring in 1-3 EDGE sites and 1-3 counterfactual sites. The pilot phase is expected to last for approximately 6-9 months. Monitoring will primarily involve collecting smart meter data to evaluate the energy consumption of the chosen sites with additional monitoring e.g. sub-metering/monitoring (via clamps/sensors etc.), water meters, indoor temperature, relative humidity, CO2 etc. as determined by the feasibility study. Social surveys will be conducted with occupants as well as technical surveys regarding the physical characteristics of the chosen sites. Fonte: ONLINE TENDERS
