Location: The generators are situated at Dlangezwa in the City of Umhlathuze. Technical specifications: - Check the general condition of the generator; - Do major service of the Gen-set (Mechanical & Electrical); - Check changeover switch; - Replacement of lube oil and fuel filter; - Replacement of the coolant filter; - Replacement of the air filter; - Replacement of coolant; - Inspection/replacement of the air intake system; - Inspection/replacement of the intercooler; - Inspection/replacement of Tensioner bearing; - Inspection/replacement of V belt; - Check valve clearance; - Inspect the condition of batteries for the 100Kva generator; - Replace batteries for the 250Kva generator; - Test the functionality of the battery charger; - Clean the generator after completion. Scope requirements: - The personnel working shall apply appropriate personal protective equipment; - Disconnect all power sources before performing maintenance work; - It is the responsibility of the service provider to ensure that the generator is running efficiently on completion; - Should there be other defects not covered on the scope and cost less for repairs, the contingencies are at 10%.
